  • Directed a 130-personnel organization in 10 different military specialties responsible to provide medical support to an Army division in clinics and field locations.
  • Project leader for the test and evaluation of a nerve agent antidote using over 8,000 personnel from nine U.S. regions, in 20 field exercises Army-wide, while managing a $1 million project budget; Project successfully executed and completed in a 3-year span. Arranged and coordinated video conference calls, meetings, and seminars with materiel developers, combat developers, military service program managers, and commercial manufacturers to discuss technical, operational, simulation, and maintenance data of equipment being evaluated. Recruited, supervised, and trained over 35 personnel serving as data collectors.
  • Directed, trained and executed administrative functions for a 25-person branch responsible for teaching the Combat Medical Specialist Course to 420 students in 13-week cycles, resulting in training a total of 2,400 students annually.
  • Developed curriculum for the Army Medical Department Officer Basic Course. Trained junior officers in field-tactical subjects and tactical decision-making process.
  • Served as Medical Observer/Controller in two rotations at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California.
  • Formally recognized for the Spanish script translation and production of the film titled, The U.S. Army Medical Department Distance Education Initiatives.
  • Executed administrative functions and training development for a 25-personnel division serving as military advisors to the U.S. Army reserves in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Taught the Unit Field Sanitation Course and Combat Lifesaver Course.
  • Selected as trainer during a battle staff exercise at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for an Infantry brigade of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard.
  • Directed an 18-personnel clinic responsible to provide health service support to 40,000 troops participating in combat operations during the Gulf War.
  • Received the Humanitarian Medal for management of personnel and resources while working as liaison between the U.S. Armed Forces and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), during relief operations in the U.S. Virgin Islands after Hurricane Marilyn.
  • Taught English for Centro PANUSA, and Spanish for the U.S. Consulate in Panama.
  • Edited a Spanish-English dictionary of 3,314 pages for Editora del Istmo.
  • Prepared certification correspondence for the VBA's Foreign Program Approval, in which over 50 educational programs at ULACIT, International University and Universidad Tecnologica were certified.
